Dr. Harry Sundwall served as director of the Center for Indian Education from 1969 to 1975. Dr. Sundwall was a professor of education at Arizona State University and later served as the Assistant Dean of the College of Education and as Director of Indian Education. Dr. Sundwall was a professor at Brigham Young University, University of Utah, University of California Berkeley and Michigan State University prior to his move to Arizona in 1962. Dr. Sundwall was born on March 27, 1912 in Fairview, Utah, and passed away on March 23, 1991.
